What Do You Really Want?

A Question From a Friend

I recently talked to a friend about struggles I’ve been dealing with and he asked me: “What do you really want [out of life], Josh?”

I didn’t know.

He said, “We all know what we should want, but what do you really want?”

I sat in my car after he left, talked to God, and really pondered his question.

It was a good moment to redefine my prioritizes.

A Question for You

What do you really want out of life?

Or, as Mary Oliver put it, “Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?”

Josh

P.S. You’ll likely see more of these smaller posts where I’m pondering questions. I like the quote, “The quality of your life is determined by the questions you ask.”
